The team you’ll join

The German Wholesale Fund Buyer business is responsible for covering discretionary portfolio management units of banks, family offices, wealth and investment managers as well as insurance firms. In addition to being an integral part of the Wholesale team, your role will also include close collaboration with our Capital Markets Strategist.

Tasks

We support our clients in every aspect of their investment decisions with respect to tactical and strategic portfolio allocations across all assets classes including equities, fixed income, money market, private equity, private credit and real estate. As part of our academy, you’ll learn and grow every day – gaining the skills and knowledge you need to:

Investment Analyses:

Take initiative in analysing various internal investment strategies across a variety of asset classes. You will get the chance to work with industry relevant tools such as Morningstar to further benchmark internal strategies with competitor funds.

Sales Pitches:

Be a part of the front-office team and support colleagues in creating client pitches, preparing fund presentations and data as well as conducting independent research by liasing with international teams across Fidelity.

Data Analysis:

Work in a data-driven world and help us to navigate it: Ranging from fund to client data, you will be entrusted to maintain, optimize and analyse the underlying information to optimize efficiencies and digitize processes

 

Capital Markets Strategy:

Collaborate closely with our Capital Markets Strategist, contributing to market analysis and supporting the creation of presentations and data evaluations.

 

Marketing:

Function as a link between the marketing department and support in organising offline, as well as online events, such as web seminars, mailing campaigns or roadshows for investment professionals.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

It’s who you are that matters here, rather than what you studied. We look for working students or full term interns (start date August 2025) who have a genuine interest in the financial services sector and the asset management industry, a commercial acumen and string analytical and organisational skills, who are curious, compassionate, eager to learn and ready to get stuck in. Creative thinking and attention to detail are important too. And, as we’re an international organisation, we’ll need you to speak German and English.
