Position Overview

This role will require a career driven individual who can add value actively to the London based investment team within StepStone Real Estate in an Asset Management function.

Tasks

  • Take key leadership roles on specific investments, overseeing their performance and progress.
  • Ensure alignment of specific investments with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and control business plans, budgets, and capital projects for specific investments, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Conduct and oversee detailed analysis on specific investments, development projects, and potential acquisitions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of internal and client reports, including quarterly valuations and ad-hoc requests for specific investments.
  • Analyze key investment-level decisions, create internal memorandums, and present findings to decision makers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with operating partners, clients, and third-party service providers related to specific investments.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • 10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, investment management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree in finance, real estate, or a related discipline; CFA/ACA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in cash flow modelling, appraisal analysis, valuations, and joint venture structures.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management, internal committees, and clients.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive long-term value creation.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages preferred.
