Position Overview:

StepStone Private Debt is looking for a proactive and detailed-oriented senior professional to enhance our client servicing efforts. This role will directly support the Private Debt Business Development and marketing activities. The individual will interact and collaborate with senior professionals across various teams, including research, investment, legal, compliance, monitoring, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple areas, with strong organizational skills, a collaborative attitude, and a positive, can-do mindset.

Tasks

  • Become a product specialist, ensuring deep knowledge of private debt strategies to lead effective and proactive client communication
  • Manage daily client interactions by addressing inquiries promptly, distributing materials, and maintaining consistent, high-quality communication standards
  • Take ownership of the creation and ongoing refinement of marketing materials, including pitchbooks, proposals, introductory documents, RFPs, and DDQs, ensuring they meet client needs, align with brand standards, and effectively convey key messaging.
  • Organize and manage investor events such as luncheons, conferences, and gatherings to strengthen relationships and enhance client engagement
  • Manage the onboarding process for new investors, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless and efficient transitions.
  • Supervise administrative tasks such as updating presentations, maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data, and preparing materials for investor meetings
  • Act as a central point of contact between internal teams to ensure coordinated efforts in delivering exceptional client service
  • Lead ad hoc projects and analyses that support team objectives and contribute to broader organizational goals.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • 7+ years of solid work experience in Asset Management, preferably in Private Markets, in a company with international orientation
  • Min. Bachelor's degree required, concentration in business administration, marketing, or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, Word and other Microsoft office programs
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Comfortable with various responsibilities, from event coordination to marketing support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German is a must
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
  • Follow up skills and acute attention to accuracy and detail are essential
