Tasks
- Outcome Testing: Perform outcome testings (Complaints, Sales, Customer in Financial Difficulties, Responsible Lending, etc.). Oversee outcome testing activities performed by the 1st Line of Defence (LoD)
- Operational Risk Activities: Support and facilitate ongoing operational risk activities from a 2nd LoD perspective
- Risk Management Information: Assist in creating Conduct (including Product) and Operational Risk management information
- Business Processes: Write and review business processes in line with risk activities
- Risk Management Support: Provide support for all risk management-related activities, including audits
- Thematic Reviews: Prepare thematic reviews on Conduct (including Product) principles and Operational Risk Policy related processes and procedures
- Mystery Shopping: Participate in mystery shopping cases in consultation with 2nd LoD Conduct colleagues
- Reporting and Meetings: Assist in collecting and preparing mandatory reports or meeting/committee papers (e.g., Conduct Risk Appetite Metrics (CRAMs), Operational Risk Appetite Metrics (ORAMs), Continuous Product Management meetings) in conjunction with senior risk managers
- Standard Reporting: Consolidate information into standard reports
- Daily Support: Support the Senior Risk Manager, Conduct and Operational Risk Management
- Monitoring Controls: Monitor ongoing controls, test plans, action plans, and events in the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) system as required
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Several years of relevant work experience within a bank
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written German (Understanding of English is a prerequisite)
- Able to contribute to the increasing of risk mindset within the organisation and act as an example in this field
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues within LB GmbH
- Stakeholder management: Organise and have regular meetings with 1st and 2nd stakeholders
- Familiarity with the Three Lines of Defence Model within LB GmbH
