Your team

You'll be working in the Prime Financing team in London. Supporting organic growth for existing clients - new funds, new products, new markets, alongside the wider coverage teams such as Risk, Credit and Client Pricing, in addition to identifying and driving new business opportunities from their client base and network.

Tasks

  • drive maximum client profitability for clients you have direct responsibility for in line with market share growth, particularly where you have Client Captain responsibility (e.g. Coalition and McLagan)
  • serve as the primary contact for a defined list of clients, offer solutions to improve the clients experience by engaging F2B SMEs across the firm, validate product usage for mutual benefit and remediate any barriers that may impact existing or future business
  • drive Distribution Objectives and Key Results where appliable / in cases where the PFRM performs a sales lead role, or in partnership with sales leads and coverage teams
  • navigate the banks infrastructure to enhance a one firm perception of the bank via a single point of contact
  • partner with and provide subject matter expertise to clients alongside Distribution and other senior coverage touch points to vet and progress with new relationships, formulate the medium to long-term partnership strategy, or to execute on key components of an existing strategy
  • identify and develop innovative solutions for clients offering them a full range of products within the firm’s policies and procedures
  • focus on internal change management (including system improvements and build outs) and efficiency (including UBS’ adoption to market standards) in order to optimize client experience in collaboration with expertise areas and the client service team
  • focus on client adoption to best practices and market standards from a commercial perspective including balance sheet related aspects
  • collaborate across Global Markets as the subject matter expert in your product / client skillset area

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • client facing experience with strong interpersonal skills
  • experience preferred of /or exposure to Prime Brokerage products and clients
  • ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • an effective communicator at all levels with excellent attention to detail
  • strong organisational skills, able to manage a high volume workload and prioritise accordingly
