Tasks
We are looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our PGIM Operations, Management Reporting & Analysis team which is part of PGIM Operations and Innovation’s group (O&I).
The Management Reporting & Analysis Analyst will support three different functions. The first is Risk and Statutory limits compliance monitoring and reporting. Monitoring is completed utilizing information from multiple sources and various tests are performed to confirm if investment entities/portfolios comply with their respective limits. Some of these exposure tests include permissible investments, asset class exposure, single issuer exposure, country exposure, sector exposure, equity and fund investment exposure, Statutory, and Duration. The results of these compliance tests are analyzed and subsequently distributed to business partners on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Other reporting needs may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
There will be the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual investment compliance reports for the Securities Trade Monitoring group of Prudential. In addition, the associate will report various TIC (Treasury International Capital) reports which are sent to the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, and filed with the US Treasury, that report cross border transactions are also a reporting requirement for the position.
The Analyst will be responsible for handling monthly and quarterly reporting of Assets Under Management for PGIM and Prudential Financial and will support various businesses such as client management, finance, marketing, and retirement. The Analyst will research and resolve discrepancies in the various reports as well as handle ad-hoc requests.
This position is based in one of our offices in Tampa, FL or Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule (2 days in office). Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- Daily review of limit monitoring dashboards & reports
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of investment accounting and of various investment instruments
- High level of self-motivation and dedication
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and also as a member of a team.

- Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $60,000 to $70,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
