Your opportunity with a fast-growing, innovative team

Become part of radicant, a dynamic scale-up dedicated to shaping the future of digital banking. We're expanding quickly, bringing personalised financial services closer to people through advanced technology and strategic partnerships. If you have a digital mindset and are excited about joining a purpose-driven team, radicant offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution while advancing your career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As a Junior Banking Operations Specialist reporting to our Lead Banking Operations, you’ll play an essential role in our day-to-day banking activities. You’ll ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient handling of operational processes - from payments to client data - while contributing to broader cross-functional collaboration. This role is designed for professionals at the start of their career who are eager to build more expertise in payments, securities, and client data management.

Tasks

  • Support various daily tasks within the Banking Operations team.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement processing.
  • Maintain the integrity of customer master data across the lifecycle.
  • Respond to client-related inquiries (e.g. payment investigations, card issues, offboarding).
  • Provide internal support and resolve ad-hoc operational queries.
  • Collaborate with Client Services, Legal & Compliance, and Product teams.
  • Support and contribute to projects and process improvements.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Completion of a banking apprenticeship (Kauffrau/-mann EFZ Bank).
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in banking operations, particularly in payments or securities (trading).
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and openness to learning new tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with mid-/back-office tools; knowledge of Finnova considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a preference for tasks requiring accuracy and consistency.
  • A service-oriented and proactive mindset, with the ability to adapt well in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

That awaits you

  • Join a Purpose-Driven Bank: Be part of a future-focused bank where your work contributes to meaningful change. Help shape solutions that align with purpose, innovation, and sustainability - making a real impact for people and the planet.
  • Collaborate Internationally: Work alongside a diverse and highly skilled team passionate about innovation and sustainability.
  • Hybrid Work Model: Benefit from a balance of remote work and in-office collaboration, with 2-3 days a week at our central Zurich office (depending on the role).
  • Benefits: 25 days of annual leave, paid Halbtax, sustainable pension fund 60% covered by radicant, occupational and non-occupational accident insurance 100% covered by radicant.
  • A Fast-Paced, Fun Culture: We get things done, we have the courage to act and innovate, and always enjoy the journey together!
