We are seeking a versatile Investment Consultant to provide tailored investment advice and solutions to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). This role involves understanding client objectives, managing investment portfolios, conducting in-depth research, and delivering comprehensive advice on financial products. Expertise in Digital Assets and ESG/impact investment strategies is an advantage.
Tasks
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to assess clients’ objectives, risk tolerance, and investment goals.
- Develop, present, and implement customized investment strategies, including asset allocation plans, aligned with client goals.
- Co-manage discretionary portfolios and generate multi-asset investment proposals for advisory mandates, based on the bank’s macro and strategic asset allocation views.
- Actively monitor bespoke advisory portfolios, recommend timely adjustments based on market conditions, and provide performance updates.
- Contribute to the Bank’s monthly House View by sharing insights and analyses.
- Analyze and interpret sell-side equity research and develop quick valuation methodologies, including investment cases for equities and corporate bonds.
- Introduce new products to the bank’s offering and identify cross-selling opportunities across banking and wealth management products.
- Ensure that all investment advice complies with regulatory requirements and the bank’s internal risk management directives.
- Stay informed about global and local market trends, financial products, and economic developments.
- Assist relationship managers during client meetings and actively participate in Product-Front Office discussions.
- Analyze, select, and monitor mutual funds and structured products.
- Maintain recommendation lists and model portfolios.
- Conduct due diligence on private equity or debt deals, including writing reports, teasers, and information memorandums.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide reports and share relevant information.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
Education:
- University degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in Corporate Finance or Accounting (CFA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment advisory or portfolio management roles.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven ability to design and manage customized investment portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of asset classes, financial planning, and valuation methodologies.
- Broad analytical skills to assess markets, individual securities, and macroeconomic trends.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis and understanding of accounting standards.
- Experience in investment fund analysis and strong technical competence in financial products.
- Familiarity with Digital Assets and ESG/impact investment strategies is an asset.
