This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to become the Head of Credit for the Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) business. LBCM is the non-ring fenced bank of Lloyds Banking Group, and an important part of the Corporate and Institutional Banking business. We're a standalone legal entity and have our own Board and Executive Functions: Chief Operating Office, Finance, People, Legal and Risk; as well as client facing business areas: Financial Markets, Capital Markets, North America, and the Crown Dependencies. We use a Shared Service model, where the ring-fenced bank (RFB) provides LBCM with key services which enable it to operate.

If you think all banks are the same, you'd be wrong. We're an innovative, fast-changing business that's shaping finance as a force for good. A bank that's empowering its people to innovate, explore possibilities and grow with purpose.

Tasks

The LBCM Head of Credit is responsible for the maintenance of the credit risk strategy for the LBCM business - conducting oversight and assurance to ensure the effectiveness of LBCM's Credit Risk controls. This includes activities such as credit sanctioning, Credit Authority Delegation oversight, credit analysis and reviews, management information and risk appetite recommendations. The individual in this position will have sanctioning rights for LBCM and will therefore become a Material Risk Taker.
