As an Executive Director in the Green Economy Banking team, you will be an experienced banker capable of promoting business independently focused on the DACH and/or Nordic markets. You will have proven client relationship skills and an ability to call at the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) level. Strong corporate finance, credit, and transaction execution skills are required. Investment Banking experience is ideal. Prior banking experience in European Union (EU) markets is preferred, with strong knowledge of the local markets.
Tasks
- Identify and originate new business for climate transition clients in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and / or Nordic regions
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, financing and treasury services opportunities
- Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary relationship manager
- Support the execution of transactions, including M&A advisory, leveraged finance, and capital markets deals, and coordinate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and compliance
- Proactively market clients and prospects; represent J.P. Morgan’s Green Economy Banking team in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources
- Become an integral part of J.P. Morgan’s broader clean energy and ESG ecosystem and establish oneself as the local champion on these topics
- Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMC rules, policies, and procedures
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Extensive experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or commercial banking products and services, or coming from a Markets Coverage background
- Knowledge of the European Green Economy sector (DACH and Nordic experience highly preferred)
- Knowledge and experience in Investment Banking is highly preferred
- Ability to demonstrate extensive leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development
- Solid credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communications abilities
- Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, and other banking products; preferably with execution experience
- Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent
- Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with a strong performance track record
Preffered:
- MBA or equivalent preferred
