We are looking for a highly accomplished investment specialist/ advisor to lead the Investment Management team Emerging Europe and advise clients on their investment portfolios. The objective for the Investment Manager (IM) team in Zürich is to support existing clients across the regions of Emerging Europe, delivering Deutsche Bank Private Bank solutions to the clients, as well as to support the prospecting efforts.

The IM acts as the clients’ primary contact for all investment needs and discussions. You will be responsible for your team members and for delivering the entire suite of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management solutions, from Discretionary and Advisory portfolio management to Deposits, Capital Markets and Alternative Investments.

Tasks

  • Lead and develop the Investment Management Team Emerging Europe. Guide and mentor the Investment Managers in this team overseeing all activity. Close collaboration with the Emerging Europe Market Head and the other Investment Management Heads across Central Europe and beyond.
  • Primary contact for internal and external stakeholders for investment-related discussions covering the full spectrum of the Deutsche Bank Wealth Management platform.
  • Identify clients’ needs, originate solutions, and increase share of wallet to achieve commercial objectives for the clients and the Bank.
  • Monitor clients’ portfolios, provide rebalancing ideas, execute investment reviews, ensuring investments are constantly aligned with Deutsche Bank Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) views and asset allocation.
  • Assess clients’ risk appetite, own suitability/appropriateness, ensure portfolios are built and overseen accordingly.
  • Ensure and document that all proposals and transactions are fully aligned with suitability and appropriateness rules, and compliant with regulatory requirements and Deutsche Bank policies.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers in their prospecting efforts through developing investment proposals and pitch collateral, driving investment pitches, and showcasing full suite of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management capabilities.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Experience in team leadership for the HNW client coverage / investment advisory.
  • Accomplished investment specialist, with significant relevant market experience covering high-net-worth individuals (HNW)/ Family Offices, and strong investment knowledge across all asset classes (liquid and illiquid).
  • Fluent in delivering a capital markets outlook and experience leading investment discussions in one-on-one meetings and small groups, both from an investment strategist’s view, and a manager’s view.
  • Understanding of the regulatory framework in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II and FINSA). CWMA, as a professional certification required.
  • Relevant higher education degree and professional experience of at least 10 years
  • Enthusiastic and driven team leader and team player, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong ethical standards and compliance expertise.
  • Deep understanding and experience in at least one of the markets across Israel, Turkey, Greece, SEE/CIS markets.
