Director, Infrastructure Equity (m|f|x) London

Tasks

The Infrastructure Equity team sits within the Private Markets business of Aviva Investors, a global asset manager and part of the Aviva Group. The role focuses on sourcing, structuring, investing in and managing bespoke equity investments in the sustainable infrastructure and climate transition space across Europe. As a Senior Director you are critical to ensure the long-term success of the team, deliver quality growth of AUM and proactively contribute to the team’s strategic objectives. The successful role holder will be reporting to the Head of the Infrastructure Equity. Responsibilities attained to the role will cover the full lifecycle of our investments including origination, execution, asset management and sitting on boards through to disposals.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Deep European infrastructure and energy market knowledge and connections with industrial and development counterparts as well as advisors and other intermediaries
• Proven ability to identify and generate a strong proprietary pipeline of opportunities and develop creative and innovative investment solutions that align with our clients’ objectives
• Experience with asset management and ability to create value through financial, commercial, and operational excellence
• Successful track record in originating, executing and asset managing a varied range of infrastructure and energy asset classes
• Proven leadership and genuine keenness to mentor junior team members
