Tasks

  • Developing and driving acquisition of new clients and investments for GAM's relevant product range in the wholesale and institutional client segment, ideally in Germany and Austria.
  • Use both a network of GAM’s and own existing contacts for a systematic and successful market approach.
  • Become fluent in GAM’s strategy range and be able to represent both traditional and alternative strategies to sophisticated institutional investors.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan for your region and directly contribute to growth targets.
  • Conduct all necessary acquisition and retention activities, including representation of GAM at fairs and events, client servicing and participation in important internal projects.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ business development experience in the asset management sector
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets and portfolio theory
  • Knowledge of the legal regulations and fundamentals for the asset management business
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Business fluent English
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player
  • Success-driven
  • Immaculate sales appearance
  • Willingness to travel extensively
