Capital Steering is a key stakeholder in the management of the capital position of RBI
Group and RBI AG. The team is responsible for the monitoring, planning, and steering of the capital position for RBI Group, RBI AG and network units and its optimization. Moreover, Capital Steering is
supervising strategic capital steering concepts including the management of major capital
transactions within RBI Group and the management of the structural FX position.
Tasks
- Take over the responsibility for planning of RBI Group’s capital position optimizing the Groups value by ensuring optimal usage of different regulatory capital instruments and adequacy with regulatory requirements
- Regularly update and present RBI Group’s capital plan and adequacy statement in front of RBI Board of Management and authorities
- Provide relevant analysis for dividend distribution policy, profit inclusions and other capital measures; prepare respective regulatory applications together with Group Regulatory Affairs
- Closely follow any new developments on CRR III and reflect upcoming changes in capital planning and steering activities
- Contribute to RBI Group’s budgeting and forecast process by ensuring proper reflection of all capital relevant items and measures
- Further develop RBI Groups capital planning framework and tools, catering the new needs of dualsteering of RBI Groups Russian entity
- Provide capital impact assessments for strategic projects and related regulatory applications
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- University degree in business administration, banking & finance or similar education
- Several years of working experience in Banking such as Regulatory Affairs, Planning or Accounting being involved in the dialogue with the regulator
- Profound knowledge of current regulatory framework items (Basel 4, CRR, CRD, ICAAP) with focus on capital as well as strong interest in new developments of relevant regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in data processing and a self-motivated mindset as well as the ability to work within an agile environment
- Experienced user of MS Office, Bloomberg, Tagetik, Qlik, Power BI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German and/or CEE language is an advantage
