As part of the Treasury and Payments team in Banking Operations, in the COO division of the bank, you are contributing to shaping and driving the development of Payments in Operations globally.

Tasks

  • As part of a multi-year large core platform transformation programme, you support the team in key payments initiatives to enable consistency in the product roadmap and work with business sponsors to ensure operational readiness after project go-live
  • Develop and execute a transformational roadmap for payments products globally, aligning with business strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to optimize value across the end-to-end lifecycle based on client needs, market trends, competitors, and regulatory/technological advancements
  • Define functional requirements and standards for vendor-delivered products (i.e. TPH) , agreeing on technical design and implementation approaches
  • Provide accurate estimates for development efforts, ensuring that stakeholders have a clear understanding of resource allocation and timelines
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and initiate necessary adjustments to ensure compliance
  • Manage relevant Run-the-Bank (RtB) topics, such as SLAs, incident / problem management, and ensure the implementation of meaningful KPIs to measure service quality and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Experience in change initiatives within Operations, preferably in payments products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • Experience in working with Temenos Transact preferably TPH
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, core banking systems, and the typical banking product landscape
  • Experience with CBPR+, SWIFT, SEPA, and SIC standards (ISO20022)
  • Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
  • Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re-engineering
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Growth-oriented and agile mindset, with a passion for driving change and innovation
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented and hands-on personality, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Know-how on Instant Payments preferred (SIC, TIPS)
  • Proficiency in English, with basic understanding of German; additional languages are a plus
