As a member of the Credit Risk Management organization, the candidate will act as a Business Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of projects and solutions within the Credit Domain and equip the bank with the necessary processes and platform for efficient processing of Credits. The candidate needs to interact with business stakeholders from Credit, the Front, COO, Operations, Markets, Finance, Legal & Compliance to ensure successful delivery. The candidate will work with software engineers, architects, UX designers and be the voice of the business responsible for defining, documenting, and articulating requirements to the delivery organization and agile squads related to Credit. Depending on the project/platform, the delivery takes place along agile or hybrid (waterfall/agile) methodology.

This role is located in Zürich but requires frequent interactions with colleagues in Monaco and Luxemburg as well as Singapore and Hong Kong.

Tasks

Project Scoping

  • Act Business Analyst for Credit applications, for CtB and RtB
  • Gather and define user stories and create a backlog (including functional, non-functional, legal and operational requirements) for Credit applications and processes
  • Partner with business leads to identify needs for the Credit domain
  • Define project scope and key deliverables with product vision respective to Credit capabilities, processes and applications
  • Focus on customer value and continuously drive product improvements and roadmap
  • Facilitate timeline and budget estimates; facilitate in preparation of business case
  • Set up project governance and project team

Project Delivery

  • Ensure solutions are strategic whenever possible with an eye on future macro-developments
  • Drive coordination of key initiatives to enable consistency in the product roadmap
  • Establish project plan, identify key milestones, critical path and dependencies
  • Examine project progress and maintain project plan
  • Identify, track and resolve risks and issues that may arise during the lifecycle of the project; proactively propose mitigating actions
  • Ensures that all deliverables are provided on-time and on-quality by institutionalizing appropriate quality checks
  • Coordinate preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing and User sign-off
  • Issue regular & accurate project status reports and institute progress meetings to keep stakeholders informed


Change Management and Communications

  • Drive transformation by running or supporting the implementation, communication and training
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure operational readiness of business after project go-live


Regulatory Responsibilities, Risk Management

  • Collaborate with legal & compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations of Credit solutions

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Experience working within Credit Domain with good knowledge of Credit products, processes and regulations related to Credit
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in private banking
  • +5 years’ experience with agile delivery approaches (e.g. Scrum, SAFe), ideally working experience as a product owner or similar role
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgement assertiveness and adequate risk management
  • Strong conceptual skills, solution oriented, big picture thinking
  • Proven ability to manage large cross-functional project teams and proven ability to interact with functional management at all levels
  • Understanding of broad range of technologies and keeps up to date with market and technology trends
  • Ability to drive and demonstrate strong end-product orientation
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, spoken German is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
