Job Description
Are you ready to take the next step in your investment career? At L&G Asset Management, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Fund Manager to join our Liquidity Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to strategic fund decisions, and grow within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Tasks
- Supporting the development and execution of money market fund strategies across Euros, Sterling, and US Dollars
- Monitoring and managing liquidity funds in line with internal, regulatory, and rating agency standards
- Building and maintaining relationships with trading counterparties and fund administrators
- Developing a deep understanding of the money market fund industry and its evolving best practices
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of client pitches and fund reviews
- Collaborating with senior fund managers on portfolio management and investment decisions
- Engaging with global trading and liquidity initiatives across the business
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational and investment processes
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Proven experience in asset management, banking, or treasury, or other relevant fields
- A desire to pursue or current progress toward professional qualifications such as IMC or CFA
- A methodical mindset with strong awareness of investment and operational risk
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when needed
- A client-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- A proactive mindset and a strong work ethic
