We are looking for candidates with a background in sales or relationship management to help expand our business across a diverse range of wholesale accounts, including Global, Private, and Cantonal banks. As a Client Advisor for the Swiss Funds team, you will focus on growing our business in the Swiss German and Italian regions, reporting directly to the Swiss Country Head in Zurich

Tasks

  • Develop strong relationships with clients, focusing on investment decision-makers, portfolio managers, and research analysts
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients through meetings, conferences, roadshows, and virtual platforms
  • Use a consultative sales approach to drive client growth
  • Leverage digital channels for a more effective business development approach
  • Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to address complex challenges
  • Take ownership of client relationships and execute your business plan
  • Achieve sales targets through new client acquisition, effective pipeline management, and client retention
  • Conduct business with a comprehensive understanding of compliance, audit, and legal requirements, adhering to best practices
  • Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting and record all client activities in the CRM tool.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of the Asset Management industry
  • Deep understanding of the local market with existing relationships in the wholesale channel and the ability to develop new ones
  • Experience managing a client base in the Swiss German region
  • Strong technical background to articulate a range of long-only and alternative strategies
  • Professional approach with the ability to engage with internal and external partners
  • Proven track record of developing key partnerships with sales teams and individuals
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently

Preferred:

  • Strong team player with a client-focused drive
  • Self-starter capable of working under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Over 10 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record
  • Extensive client network in Zurich and the broader Swiss German region; Ticino is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; Italian is a plus
