Position Overview

This role will require a career driven individual who can add value actively to the London based investment team within StepStone Real Estate in an Asset Management function.

Tasks

  • Investment Monitoring: Work closely with operating partners to monitor progress and performance of investments.
  • Business Plans and Budgets: Assist in maintaining and controlling business plans, budgets, and capital projects including control of cash flow models.
  • Supporting Analysis: Conduct supporting analysis on existing investments, development projects, and potential acquisitions.
  • Reporting: Prepare internal reports and assist in the preparation of client reports, including quarterly valuations and ad-hoc requests.
  • Debt Compliance: Monitor performance of investments against debt compliance requirements and forecast future performance.
  • Third-party Management: Assist in the management and coordination of third-party service providers for administration and compliance.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with other departments within the Real Estate Group (Fund Accounting, Business Development, Legal, etc.).

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Finance or accounting background preferred (CFA/ACA or equivalent qualification).
  • Preferably 1-3 years post-graduate experience in financial services, accounting, real estate, or a combination of these.
  • Strong skills in cash flow modeling, appraisal analysis, valuations, and joint venture structures.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present to internal committees and clients.
  • Interest in Real Estate and Investment Management.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with excellent advancement prospects.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages preferred.
