The Trade Finance Sales unit, a major part of Group Transaction Banking, is especially responsible for the advisory and execution of Letters of Credit and other Documentary Business activities in Erste Group Bank AG, Erste Bank der Österreichischen Sparkassen, and selectively other local Sparkassen in Austria.

Within the Trade Finance Documentary Business Sales Execution Team we are looking for a Trade Finance/Documentary Business Specialist (all genders).

Aufgaben

• You directly advise national and multinational corporate clients on trade finance/documentary business transactions e.g. import/export letters of credit and related financing products (UPAS, discounting, post-finance, Trade Loans)
• Conduct transactions in line with internal and external requirements (e.g. sanctions and compliance)
• You are self-responsible for the day-to-day execution of transactions including related documentary checks according to UCP 600/ISP98 and for the life cycle of each transaction, related correspondence and other activities in accordance with the working procedures

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• ​​​You have gained at least a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable function, preferably in commercial banking or within a trade finance department of a corporation
• A sound business/commercial education
• Deep knowledge of the UCP 600 and ISP98
• Experience in structuring transactions based on aforementioned instruments e.g.: back to back Letters of Credit and financing options based on such instruments
• Ideally familiar with commodity finance transactions based on warehouse receipts, private insurances and transport (insurance) documents
• A motivated team player who is interested to grow within a team of specialists
• You are interested in new digital developments and willing to participate in product related projects
• MS-Office user skills and experience
• Business fluent in German and English
