We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Market Platforms divisional finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in partnering with the Division CFO to advance divisional reporting capabilities.
Key responsibilities include updating forecasts, and preparing comprehensive financial reports for quarterly earnings, primarily for major initiatives across the division. The Senior Director will play a key role in the monthly and annual divisional planning process as well as address new reporting requirements as requested by the divisional CFO and leadership. This role also involves implementing organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, participating in organization-wide projects while providing guidance and expertise as needed, and potentially developing and managing a team.
The Senior Director of Financial Planning & Reporting will work directly with the CFO of the Market Platforms division, as well as the divisional finance team, business teams, central finance team, and senior leaders to manage the P&L, reporting, and financial initiatives as the division continues to expand.
Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.
Conducts financial analyses. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Develops and prepares the organization's financial plans and budgets, interprets financial reports, and maintains good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.
Aufgaben
- Prepare and communicate financials to the divisional leaders and corporate stakeholders, providing effective access to information for business leaders, including the President and ELT members.
- Work with Divisional finance teams, Cloud FinOps, and stakeholders as needed, to help create and maintain a standard set of reporting, maintained and distributed on a regular basis
- Leverage a self-service reporting model where possible, and increase adoption of dashboards
- Oversee monthly forecasting, annual budget, quarterly forecast, periodic reviews and updates.
- Analyze commercial and business performance, and develop recommendations for improvements in revenue growth or resource allocation.
- Provide financial advice, and lead financial follow up, and business unit planning.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for customized data/reports in a timely & flexible manner.
Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:
- At least 10 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis. Strong relevant FP&A background is preferred.
- Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly while interfacing with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated background in organizing and distilling large data sets into a clear and concise analytical narrative, offering financial insights that enable impactful business decisions.
- Proven track record in preparing timely financial reporting and presentations for ELT/Board level to a high degree of accuracy.
- Team player and flexible/proactive attitude.
- Experience working in a dynamic, matrixed, financial planning & analysis team within a publicly traded company environment.
- Critical attention to detail and highly organized.
- Versatile collaborator with exceptional work ethic, eager to learn, ask questions, and navigate across different perspectives.
- Highly proficient Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
- Strong Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles.
- OneStream, Workday, and PowerBI/Tableau experience highly preferred

- Education Required: Degree qualified in Business/Finance or relevant discipline; specialized second degree or MBA is a plus or equivalent working experience
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

The base pay range for this role is $133,200 - $222,100.
