To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt, we are looking for someone to fill the following position with immediate effect: Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) Global Banking, Insurance, Investors and Public Sector, Global Payments Solutions Germany
Aufgaben
- Work in close partnership with Global Banking Insurance & Investors and Public Sector Coverage and the wider GPS Sales teams to identify and develop business opportunities, jointly formulate client engagement strategy to deepen the HSBC cash management wallet globally,
- Adopt a needs based advisory approach to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate cash management solutions that meet those requirements,
- Effectively coordinate and collaborate with the HSBC teams across markets and functions to design appropriate solutions and deliver commercial proposals,
- Consistently role model the Sales Manager competencies, providing guidance and coaching to other team members and Relationship Managers where necessary,
- Feedback to the GPS Product teams on the competitive market landscape and client specific requirements, to help drive product enhancements and developments as appropriate,
- Proactively collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to build and develop a deal pipeline that is coordinated with Global Banking and prioritised according to opportunity and value to HSBC Group,
- Deepen customer relationships through championing business collaboration with key stakeholders including Global Trade Solutions (GTS) and Markets & Security Services (MSS),
- Deliver the assigned financial and non-financial targets,
- Work closely with the GPS Implementation, Integration and Client Service teams to ensure smooth transition of client mandates into realised revenues,
- Maintain comprehensive sales records in a timely manner within Group CRM platforms to allow tracking of sales performance and sales quality.
- Ensure the fair treatment of our customers, which is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation,
- Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology,
- Ensure effective sales suitability management, and manage money laundering, counter terrorist financing, fraud, and reputational risks,
- Ensure all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring and address any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:
- Extensive knowledge of local / regional cash management, clearing services, products and techniques– a Certificate in International Cash Management would be advantageous,
- Solid experience in corporate treasury, banking relationship management or corporate product sales,
- Proven experience in managing complex corporate relationships in client facing roles and in driving revenue growth, demonstrating an understanding of risk management, structures, products and processes,
- Ability to communicate and build strong working relationships at all levels of senior and executive management both within HSBC and at senior levels in customer organizations (Treasurer, Financial Director, CFO),
- Highly motivated and achievement driven with an ability to formulate and articulate sales strategies, wallet sizing and account planning,
- Ability to work under pressure with Key Performance Indicators and under pressure of competing deadlines,
- Ability to operate on a cross regional and cross functional basis,
- Experienced in managing multiple countries and complex deals across regions,
- Well-developed communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills,
- Ability to multi task and manage multiple high priority and high profile projects,
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills,
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant disciplines,
- Fluency in written and verbal professional English and German is mandatory,
- Fluency in other languages will be a plus.
