Aufgaben
Overview
In this role, you will contribute to the success of T Rowe's ESG strategy by facilitating understanding and communication between the ESG research teams, ESG data users and the ESG technology team.
As a BA an Agile development team you won't be writing big requirements docs. Instead, you'll be using your aptitude for analysis, business knowledge and communication skills to help the team discover what's most important to build through workshops, demos, mockups and one to one conversation, set acceptance criteria, provide the business user perspective through the build and into testing, make sure UAT, training and go live are well planned, focused and intentional, and help the team produce great user-facing documentation so the business get the most benefit out of the tools we build.
You will coordinate with delivery teams to ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies, and you'll be successful by building strong relationships and trust with your team and your core business users, with the other technology teams whose products we may use, and by understanding the core drivers of ESG and Investment stakeholders inside and outside the firm.
You'll be working with technologists and business users in London, Baltimore and New York so you'll need to know how to get the best out of communication and build strong relationships whether they are in person, hybrid or fully remote.

Role summary and job responsibilities:
- Clarifies and communicates business needs for new and/or enhanced technology products, services, or optimized business processes to support and scale the production and distribution of ESG research and data
- Work in partnership with developers to define and refine target state solutions to business needs
- Active participation throughout the software development process
- Working closely with a variety of internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, captured, and met
- Applies a lean-agile mind-set to work and supports organizational agility
- Demonstrates strong logic and reasoning capabilities
- Leading discussions with the business on multiple options, including various trade-offs and recommended approach, to get to decisions
- Manage the business change associated with technology deliveries to ensure the successful landing and take up of new technology products
Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:
Requirements
- at least 2 years' experience as a Technology Business Analyst, junior Project Manager, Internal Product Owner or other similar role in Financial Services
- Asset Management and/or ESG experience is very desirable but not essential for a candidate that can demonstrate understanding and aptitude for learning new areas
- Able to show a track record of successful contributions to software delivery projects
- An appreciation of Agile methodology and common tools
- Able to show understanding of the different roles and phases within software delivery, speak to the purpose, challenges and risks of each and the various ways a BA may contribute to a successful outcome

Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week. Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory in office days, as well as a third day of choice.
