Aufgaben

  • Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted acquisition of new quality customers.
  • Ensure proactive relationship building/customer contact plans and pipelline management for both existing and new customers.
  • Monitor the client portfolio regularly and generate quality assets through the use of appropriate risk management tools, priced appropriately for risk and within customers ' and HSBC's risk appetite.
  • Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between customer and HSBC interests while remaining within the bounds of prudent banking
  • Proactively grow international/cross border revenue.
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information and deal pipeline on relevant systems as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other Global Businesses, Product and Service Partners to identify oportunities to connect customers to opportunities and strengthen the relationship.
  • Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment.
  • Keep abreast of external factors influencing international business e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and agreeing performance expectations, completing the necessary mandatory training and developing the levels of capability and competence needed to be effective in the role.
  • Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment.
  • Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together.
  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Continuously monitor, gather information from relevant sources to assess potential impacts and identify risks, necessary changes and business opportunities.
  • Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

  • Experienced in a similar position with international exposure.
  • Degree in relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting etc) or other similar qualification.
  • Written and spoken English fluency.
  • Second language fluency – German or French preferred.
  • Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues.
  • Understanding of risk management and credit mitigants.
  • Ability to interact with business customers at all levels.
  • Strong team player, open communication/ knowledge sharing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills.
  • Strong ability for multitasking and result driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal and the ability to deliver compelling presentations. 
  • Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services. 
  • Strong business development and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regard to more complex and structured facilities with an international dimension. 
  • Experience and track record of quality delivery on customer due diligence (Know Your Customer).
  • Risk knowledge, internal control, corporate governance. 
  • Strong IT skills (including Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc).
  • Being proactive, independent, self-motivated, high energy, able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
