Job Description

We’re currently looking to hire a Fixed Income Trader to join L&G Asset Management Global Trading and Liquidity Management Team

You’ll specialise in the execution of Corporate Bond & CDS trades, as well as general rates products for hedging purposes. This is a full-time office-based role and will require a flexible-working pattern as dictated by business volumes

Aufgaben

  • Trading a wide range of fixed income products, specifically Corporate Bonds & CDS but also general rates products in compliance with client, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Undertaking market-related research including up-to-date knowledge of all relevant technical, regulatory and compliance issues
  • Analysing market data in order to develop a trading strategy and optimise counterparty selection
  • Monitoring trades to ensure “best execution” at all times, and timely settlement of all trades
  • Research, implementation and analysis of Transaction Cost Analysis
  • Facilitate primary markets activity, orders and allocations.
  • Assist with ongoing IT projects & developments, system upgrades and system implementation
  • Work with our Trading Research team to analyse, process and interpret large trading data sets to improve client outcomes and drive strategy

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

  • Demonstrable experience in the execution of Corporate Bonds & CDS and good understanding of financial instruments and markets, including knowledge of market structure and the mechanics of the trading process through to settlement
  • Relevant Fixed Income trading related experience at a buy-side, or sell-side institution
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in Python, or other programming languages are desirable, but not required
  • Experience in usage of key trading applications, such as OMS and Trading platforms
  • Strong academic background; qualifications, or progress towards professional certifications such as CFA/IMC are desirable, but not required
