HINV (HSBC Innovation Bank) is looking for a proactive and experienced Financial and Accounting Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting UK financial reporting and controls, focusing on ledger close processes, journal reviews, and investigating differences. You will also liaise with auditors, contribute to year-end reporting, and be involved in the business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Aufgaben

• Assist with UK financial reporting and controls
• Lead the ledger close process and review journals
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve differences
• Liaise with auditors and support audits during year-end
• Get involved in BAU activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Provide overall support to the Financial and Accounting Reporting team

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles
• Financial services experience
• Strong experience with ledger close and journal reviews
• Previous experience working with auditors
• Exposure to year-end reporting processes
• Proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must be an all-rounder, comfortable with a variety of tasks and challenges
