Investec Bank plc is committed to maximising our Low-Touch and “Mid-Touch” client wallet commission revenues in the UK franchise. We service institutional clients, including insurance companies, pension fund managers, investment trusts, mutual funds, hedge funds, and other specialist fund management houses, with the objective of maximising revenues and votes.

About the Role

To work closely with the Head of Electronic Trading to maximise our Low-Touch and “Mid-Touch” client wallet commission revenues in the UK franchise. This role involves servicing institutional clients and collaborating with various teams to optimise our trading platform.

Aufgaben

• Function as an ambassador for Investec Bank plc in all internal and external engagements.
• Actively champion belonging, diversity & inclusion within the team.
• Collaborate with the Head of Electronic Trading covering the US, UK/Europe, India, and CEEMEA.
• Maximise revenues across the Equities franchise for all of Investec’s products and services.
• Develop strategies to grow the number of institutional clients and our share of the ‘Electronic’ wallet.
• Ensure Electronic Execution/trading provides a consistent high-quality service for prospective and existing corporate and institutional clients.
• Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
• Undertake appropriate Risk, Regulatory & Compliance (RR&C) training.

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• Experience in electronic trading and client relationship management.
• Strong understanding of the equities market.
• Ability to cultivate and port existing relationships to Investec.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing strategies for revenue maximisation.
• Experience with High-Touch execution teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory aspects related to trading.
